Ever since the advent of the computer screen as an important
medium for communication, theorists, designers and website
developers have been suggesting guidelines for designing more
effective sites and graphics. Given the sheer amount of visual
information to which we are subjected, it is a good idea to
consider the scope of our subject and the new challenges
which it brings.
General knowledge of the cultural, psychological and contextual
effects of color is oftentimes a determining factor in the success
or failure of web design.
